4C hair can also be used

I tried Revlon Smooth and Shine to make my hair dry and smooth. I'm African American with 4c natural hair so I feel this product should be kept away. I also usually limit my exposure to heat to air drying. However, I have used this product to give my hair a better smoothness after washing and conditioning. Curly hair is frizzy and tangles easily, so this worked great. Now I didn't have silky straight hair, but I wasn't expecting it. My hair was definitely still frizzy but held up better and was easier to style and braid after use, which was the goal. I used the low heat setting and combed through just enough to get rid of any kinks and frizz. Multiple passes over each small area did the trick. After that, weaving was easy. Don't worry about tangles and breakage. And I did the whole head in about 20 minutes. The styler is lightweight, easy to hold and manoeuvre. A little clunky but easier to use than a hair dryer with attachments. I felt comfortable holding it. You get 3 settings Cool, Low and High. Everything works pretty well and the switch is easy to flick with your index finger. I haven't used the mist function on my hair, but filling the reservoir is easy enough. The bristles have a round top layer and a flat bottom layer for easy combing. It detangled my hair well beforehand so I didn't feel like I was pulling on my hair. Minimal hair loss. Much easier to wash during the day than in the salon. I will definitely continue to use this drybrush for easier styling and quick drying of my hair. So I would advise women of African descent not to shy away from this product. I bet it works even better on relaxant treated hair than natural hair. Oh, and the pink color is chic too.
