Pros: The collar was well made, very attractive, reasonably priced and comfortable for my 90 lb yellow lab. Cons: The new metal turned my dog's neck black, especially around the neck where the metal rests most of the time, very odd. Also, this foster 3 year old pulls REALLY hard so I was hoping this collar would help as it's less aggressive than a chain collar and looks good enough to wear all the time. However, a bit of pinching wasn't enough for my dog because he pulled the leash too aggressively. This might work well for a dog that only needs a light to moderate pull correction, but we had to use a choke chain for taring.
