I had every hard drive I've ever had in a box with the intention of one day putting it in a new computer so I could copy all my art and written music. Never happened until I brazenly plugged a USB drive into the docking station. Miraculously, this unit appeared first. It's funny because even though I worked in IT I never knew it existed and when I described to another techie what I wanted to do they turned up their noses and said such a beast didn't exist. It worked great with no computer complaints or error messages.
