Let me start by saying that I didn't buy this bottle because of the wave pattern printed on it. However, when I tore off the price sticker, part of it came right out of the box. Soap by hand, also with a sponge, before first use. Well, the wavy design kept falling off my hand. I said "forget it" and just scraped off the leftovers. Also great bottle. That's what really matters. Fits perfectly in the bottle cage on my bike. Light. The valve on the nozzle works well, letting water flow out when you end up sucking or squeezing the main bottle. Otherwise, no leaks have been reported yet. I plan to use it a few more times and if all goes well I'll get a second one for my triathlons.
