My brother-in-law, a motorcycle mechanic, recommended the Time Sert kit, but I didn't see the point of spending $140 for it. This kit worked great. It cut a nice clean thread 1 size down and the supplied screws screwed right in. Be sure to flush the motor well and use a fine pipe cleaner to remove any remaining metal shavings that have settled around the new hole. I used those fluffy flexible wires that kids use for art projects. To be extra careful with leaks I used teflon tape on the screw. I was worried about not cutting the hole straight so I used a drill press to drill it all the way into a small piece of oak and then used a tap to carve the wood. I cleaned everything up and then placed the block against the sump and started filling the faucet. It worked very well.
