Perfect fit and easy installation
This filter is required for Mercury outboards. It was a perfect fit for my engine (135 hp). This is a cartridge that fits into an integrated canister in the engine and also protects the fuel system from injecting water contaminated fuel into injectors or cylinders. All owners of engines using such filters should have spares on board to protect the engine from contaminated fuel from various sources.
