Review on 🔌 NGFF M-Key NVME AHCI SSD to PCI-E 3.0 16x x4 Adapter - Enhanced Compatibility for XP941, SM951, PM951, A110, m6e, 960 EVO SSD by Ben Duncan

Plain simple PCIe NVMe adapter. Have used it with key-M pcie nvme m.2 SSDs of different brands. Suitable for pciex4, x8 or x16 slots but as far as I know it only works on x4. The cutouts allow it to hang over the x4 slot. The speed is sufficient for my purposes. I haven't noticed any overheating of the SSD with light usage. I can use it as a boot drive on some of my computers, but one day I found it a little temperamental in adding a second one when I already had another as a boot drive. I unplugged the new one and moved the first to a different slot and then reinstalled the second. I assume my bios looked at the second one and thought it was the boot disk. The PC BIOS determines whether it is bootable. On a 2010 PC I can use it to add a data drive (not bootable).
