This is ridiculous. I know there are women reporting that they can use it. I have serious doubts that anyone (other than a boy/man) can do this without leaks! Never use while seated in the car. You may have better luck standing in a half-crouched position, but I suspect leaks will occur even then. Before ordering, try to urinate into a container about 3 inches in diameter (this is an approximate size). If you can do that, congratulations, you have crazy skills! I ordered another device called female urinal. The name says it's for sitting, in bed or standing. It looks like a small plastic jug with a narrow pointed end on one side of the lid and a jug handle on the other. The narrow part rises backwards and completely covers the "drip zone". When you're done, all you have to do is use the handle to slide it off your body. As it holds multiple cups I think it will be big enough for regular volume. (This is made by the PeePee Aid Store). For hygiene reasons I did not return this product. I mean the meanness that urine collection device brings back! I figured if I was using it for anything else I could pour my urine from the jug into this one until I found a spot to pour it out. It expands and contracts, meaning it doesn't take up too much space when compressed, but large enough when expanded to hold an average collection. Of course, if you are a man, this is a good device, but of course, every man, regardless of age, never hesitated to draw it and aim it at a tree! When stuck in a car, obviously even a man needs a fall arrest device. Unless you are very wealthy, the diameter of the top should allow for partial insertion, thus preventing leakage. The pandemic has changed all of our lives, I never thought the efficiency of a portable urinal would be something I would need or use! Now that I have another device I would rather use it than sit in most public restrooms, pandemic or not. Hope that helps. Go girl!
