They work great. I have a 23ft travel trailer that I tow camping and my regular mirrors don't see around the trailer. They broaden my view of the trailer so I can change lanes or exit safely. I really want permanent mirrors but they are very expensive so this is the next best thing. I have used them for 2 local trips and a 10 day 7 state trip. My travels have included traffic jams on Denver's freeways, regular city traffic, and fast-moving interstate highways. They worked great in all situations. I install them on the hard drive and erase them at the destination every night. They can be easily removed if someone wants to steal them. They're easy to put on and take off and don't leave any marks on truck mirrors yet. To install, hook the top, then gently push the bottom (as if you're rolling it) until it snaps over the bottom of the mirror. You can look at the 5 latches visually and see if they are set correctly or not. They come with a small pouch to store them in when not in use. They don't block the view of the direction indicators that are on the mirrors of my trucks. These require you to manually adjust the mirrors, so having someone on the passenger side helps. I can still use the truck switches to adjust the truck's permanent mirrors. You can use both mirrors, trucks and those on them. I'm glad I made the purchase and would highly recommend them. If you tow you should be able to see. This is my first set of mirrors so I have no comparison to other brands.
