I used this kit to replace both AC valves in a jeep tj. I tapped the ends lightly with a hammer until they almost pinched the new valves, then used them to force the old valves out without using lube. There was enough room to slide both valves past the tool shut-off valve. I was very satisfied and happy. have this special tool on hand. One of my valves was missing a cap and it was the same valve used to add freon to the store's atomizer. I didn't realize how annoying the valve was until I changed it. Adding Freon can allow dirt to get into the valve and cause even more leakage.
