I've been using 3-D Zots for a few years now and they are great for hampers and candy cakes! only to have to move everything when transporting it to the venues. 3D Zots allow me to clip things neatly so I don't have to worry about disassembling and assembling baskets while preparing for events. They also serve as an excellent base for delicate/fragile items. I've been looking for the perfect glue for my candy cakes ever since I started making them. Hot glue melts the chocolate. The double tape will hold the candy in place but only if there is enough surface area attached to the box, most boxes are round, oval or heart shaped and flat candies only have a small area touching the box. Soft foam dots and tape are not strong enough. And the velcro points were a real nightmare, almost trebling the set up time! Because 3D Zots are thicker than tape and provide a stronger grip than foam products, I can place candies (and sometimes move them around) without fear of them falling before I can get them off. 3-D Zots are easy to place and stay put. The only downside is the price, most cakes require more than a box of 200 points and at around $5 a box they really add to my overall cost.
