Review on Directed Electronics 8600 Magnetic Switch by Carlos Macy

I'm really in a hurry with this review but just wanted to say that so far so good. At the moment I'm just in the phase of installation and connection. Not glued or assembled yet. Yes, I know how it will work will be known soon. But I want to share what I'm trying to do here. That means I hooked this up to a small LED light in my G3 fishing boat. The idea is that every time I open the manhole cover, the light comes on. With a small 12v battery connected to this setup I should get a full season out of it without charging the battery or having to search for the switch again in the dark or explain "which switch that is again" . lol I'll share a picture, maybe someone else wants to try, there's almost nothing on the internet to help or explain what to use or how to do it. My residential fountain is 10 inches wide, 30 inches long, and 15 inches deep. You can see how well the little LED flashlight shines, maybe that's enough for you. It was enough for me to see the fish or the bait. If there is water in the well, hopefully it will glow even more.
