Ideal for 12V LED strips in cabinets or closets.

Works perfectly. Having used over 10 old style mechanical 110v cabinet door switches (to a 110->12v power supply) the design of which hasn't changed in decades (they are actually a lightbulb socket that I screwed an adapter into to fit 2 pin plugs), I couldn't find these anymore. Since I really don't need a 110v switch for a row of 8' x 6' tape strips with 12v leds in my large bedroom pantry, I decided to give it a try, although I'm a little apprehensive about the 3- W limit was. since my…

Does what it says; Strong magnets would be better.

On the one hand it works exactly as advertised and works well. Has a long (unfortunately thin) wire that allows for more installation flexibility. On the other hand, I had to supplement the inner magnet with a pair of neodymium round magnets which I super-glued onto the device and then spray-taped with tape to protect and hide (see photo on the left side of the tailgate). I also padded the tape with extra high grip double sided tape (VHB) to make sure it wouldn't come loose. It may not be…

Magnetic boat deck lid/residential fountain switch?

I'm really in a hurry with this review but just wanted to say that so far so good. At the moment I'm just in the phase of installation and connection. Not glued or assembled yet.
