Review on 🚲 SHIMANO PD-ED500 SPD Pedal for Cycle Touring by Jeremy Tyson

I bought these pedals for my road bike because I just got new mountaineering boots and it was cheaper than buying new road shoes. So glad I did. They are fairly well balanced and I don't have any clipping issues (contrary to what I've read for Shimano PD-ES600). However, the included cleats are primarily for turning and you can take them right off the pedal without twisting them. If you want to ride and not spin I would buy a pair of Shimano cleats 51. The factory settings were pretty light so I gave them 6 clicks and things got a little better. We'll tighten them up a bit on our next trip.
