I bought this jacket for a horse show because I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg until I knew exactly what I wanted. What I received far exceeded my expectations. This jacket is durable, doesn't feel cheap by any means, yet is light on the body. I like the extra protection on the elbows, shoulders and back. It is suitable for women but the adjustable straps on the back are a game changer! I don't feel like a Michelin star, ladies, you know that matters! I am athletic build, usually medium build in tops/jackets and 4 (27) pants. I ordered the medium and have enough room at the top (I have a D) to reach the handlebars and you can adjust the waist to your liking with the adjust options. on colder days (Michigan), but other than that it's definitely my pick! Buy a jacket :)
