This was my first attempt at dipping nails so I have nothing to compare I think this is a great product! Easy to use and beautiful colors! (I've used everything except black and silver so far) I usually use gel polish and often fill in the cuticles which are difficult to repair. This happened to some nails with powder but was very easy to file off before applying the top coat. Also, my nails are hard as rock! Now for the test - if this product doesn't lift or chip, I'll sell dip nails forever. Time will tell, but so far so good
