This was my first attempt at dipping nails so I have nothing to compare I think this is a great product! Easy to use and beautiful colors! (I've used everything except black and silver so far) I usually use gel polish and often fill in the cuticles which are difficult to repair. This happened to some nails with powder but was very easy to file off before applying the top coat. Also, my nails are hard as rock! First time trying this and it took a few times to get it right lol. It's very easy to use. A few tips I've learned the hard way: 1. Don't go all the way to the cuticle when applying base coats.2. Wipe off excess quickly, especially on the sides.3. Apply in thin layers (easy to smudge when clear!).4. For me 2 dives worked best :) They last a long time and look so good! After figuring out the process I bought an electric nail file and it made it 10 times easier!
