For those of you in the "cheap" 8mm club, this lens is a worthy purchase. I have the Rokinon version of this lens and the Oshiro seems to be on par (about $70 less). The lens itself is a compact cylinder that's heavier than it looks. The lens cap is designed to be mounted on a pedal hood that mounts on top of the lens. You can remove it, but the lens cap no longer works and the front element sticks out of the body, so be careful not to damage it! The kit also includes a faux leather storage bag and a small square microfiber material. The lens has no auto focus, no auto iris and does not interact with the camera in any way. So brush up on your basic photography skills. I've heard of people having trouble concentrating. This is a problem with ultra wide angle lenses. It doesn't look like the focus changes as you adjust the lens, but it does, even if you can't see it. Use the focus indicator on the lens if you are unsure if you are in focus. Or just use the hyperfocal technique like I did. Frame coverage is for APS-C sensors or true APS film cameras if you still have that beast (works great on my EOS IX). You can use it on a full frame sensor or 35mm film camera, but the image will be a circle on your frame. Pro tip: Set your camera to underexpose by one step if you're using a full-frame camera. This prevents the camera from reacting to the black color of the image and trying to make it 18% gray. Also remove the hood from the pedal to get a smooth circle and no uneven contour. My only guide to composition is looking through the viewfinder! When you see your shoes, they will be visible! Overall, this is a fun kit that won't break the bank.
