Review on RinseWorks Hand Held Certified Warranty Extension by Will Carey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wow. I wish I had known that many years ago.

I recently noticed my neighbor has a bidet with a toilet seat and started researching Revain to see what the options were. In my opinion, bidet locations require a hot water connection and/or the addition of an electrical outlet. But my neighbor didn't do either and said she liked the functionality with no electricity or hot water. After reading a million reviews on a variety of seat models and about to buy one, I saw a mention of the portable style. Reading other reviews, I found that the downside of the seats - the mechanism built into the seat that takes up some space, reducing the size of the seat opening - has been eliminated in this portable style. Another plus is the apparent flexibility of the angle - some reviewers have complained that poppet valves can't be moved, requiring them to reposition their bodies to accommodate the valve's fixed position. Another perk that seemed like an added bonus was the ability to direct the beam. into the toilet to flush to keep things clean - certainly not possible with a seat. So the decision was made and I bought one for one of our toilets. It was easy to install - took less than 10 minutes - some of them had to remove the outflowing water when I turned on the control valve on the bidet head while the supply valve was open. I agree with another reviewer who mentioned that the position of the control valve is a bit counter-intuitive since the valve that is perpendicular to the direction of water flow is normally closed while the valve that is parallel to the flow of the pipe is open. But I find the valve in the parallel position to be more subtle and unobtrusive, so that's another plus. Before purchasing I was also very concerned about the potential difficulty of accessing the valve to close it after use, but I was very pleased to find that even with my short arms (I'm 5ft 1in, arm length im Proportional to my size or lack thereof) Positional valve when installed on our totos requires absolutely no bending or twisting to reach. After two days of very satisfactory use - and no leaks (one of my photos shows one of the Yolink leak sensors I have under each toilet bowl/sink/etc.) I ordered a second of these devices for our master bathroom, tuning those in first in our guest bathroom as a test that requires no explanations or lessons for the husband if it proves unsatisfactory. I added an extension tube to the sprayer on the first toilet but didn't use it on the second to try both lengths - regular and extended - without having to add and remove an extension tube before deciding on the most suitable length. i The supplied hanger fits perfectly on our Toto toilets on the side of the cistern and is held in place by the lid. I originally planned to add a wall mount plate like another reviewer did and expected the tub mounted hook would be unsatisfactory, but it works well with our toilets. Another issue that bothered me beforehand - and I'm still not happy with it - is the hose lying on the ground. While one of our toilets doesn't have room for Roomba between the flush tank and the adjacent shower, the other three toilets allow her to clean that area and I don't want her running into a hose and possibly lowering her handheld shower head. I recently bought a new Roomba with a map feature that gives the ability to set up restricted areas without having to use battery powered virtual walls to block access in this way. But she'd rather leave that area free in bathrooms with a lot of space, so she needs to think of ways to elevate that hose loop and end up maybe using a wall mount higher on the wall. Imagine if the current tank hook were so unobtrusive compared to a wall mount that hangs a foot higher on the wall. But just a small problem that needs to be fixed. I didn't take the photos above for this review - I took them to text my sister and brother-in-law encouraging them to try one of these portable bidet sprayers - I'm that excited about it.
