ADHD/Procrastination Helper

What it is: A small battery powered timer (batteries included). The maximum time is 60 minutes. Use it for at least 5 minutes. The center dial moves clockwise and counterclockwise to set the time. As you move it clockwise, you'll see the green portion expand to show what time you're setting it to. The green keeps going back to 0 while the timer is running, giving you a visual cue of how much time is left. NO TICKING NOISE. He is silent. Small size, can stand alone, no magnetic backing or other way to mount it on the wall. Advantages: Very simple and clear. You can set the alarm volume to high or low. I like high volume. I live in a small room but I can hear it from everywhere. You can set the duration of the beep after the time has elapsed. It's either 1 minute or 3 minutes. You can turn off the beep by turning the dial counterclockwise. You have to be careful not to turn to zero sharply, but this is not a sensitive device. Seems accurate. My iPhone 5 minute timer went off 7 seconds after it started beeping 5 minutes later. I don't care about accuracy. Cons: Possibly too small. I put it on the fridge and it can blend in with the surroundings. But for desktop and portability, it's great. This timer can be very helpful with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I use the app on my phone for the Pomodoro Method - 25 minutes work, 5 minutes rest, repeat about 4-5 times. This works fine, but I have no visual memory of how much time is left. It helps me to "see" the time. It can be great for children and adults with ADHD to help them cope with blindness over time.
