Review on 🔧 FEBCO 765 0.5-0.75 Inch Poppet/Bonnet Assembly by Frank Tyrance

I bought this to fix a 22 year old Febco anti-siphon valve that was leaking. I didn't know which part was broken so I bought this kit with most of the internal parts. The leak turned out to be a simple o-ring that you would find in a much cheaper kit, but on disassembly the old brittle plastic plate fell apart so I was very glad I bought this kit. Before ordering this kit I had it looked at by a plumber and he told me I need to replace the valve and conversion kits are not available. Glad I went online and searched for recovery kits. I installed this $25 kit in under 10 minutes and really took my time. Compare that to sweating copper pipe for at least a few hours to install a $75 valve (or much more for a plumber).
