This product may suit some but I did not feel comfortable using it. Seems like you would have to use it a lot to make a difference in the water. I usually use a different line of fish products, each with a small aluminum liner or outer casing. This product had no seal inside or out. I have four tanks and only added this product to one tank. Unfortunately this fish died. I won't say this product was the cause of my fish's death because I used a very small amount, but it was the only thing I did differently and my betta was still a young fish.
