Best Single Device Auto Catcher/Trap

I have used and tested EVERY auto catcher on the market in search of the best and this is the best for single devices. I'll go through the ones I use and you can decide for yourself if it's the best for your personal needs. Pocket Egg / Megacom Pocket Catchmon - 4.75 stars (it's basically the same product, I'm pretty sure they use the same software from my gaming experience) PROS: - Battery life is amazing. I've been using it with 2 phones for a week now and it's still working great - the bluetooth range is amazing. I can forget to take it home after using it in my car and it will still catch Pokemon for half an hour without my knowledge. The design and assembly is very simple and straightforward once you get the hang of it. - He catches Pokemon! He moves very quickly to the next mon after trying to catch him - he spins Pokestops! It rotates PokéStops very well, even when moving fast in a car. It stays connected and you only have to press an on-screen button to reconnect if the signal is lost. This is probably one of the best things about it. CONS: - REALLY expensive since you can only use one device. I would just buy the Dual Catchmon or Pocket Egg Pair for $10 more if you have two devices - same cons as Dual Catchmon MEGACOM Dual Catchmon / Pocket Egg Pair - 5 stars. Pros: - The battery life is amazing. I've been using it with 2 phones for a week now and it's still working great - the bluetooth range is amazing. I can forget to take it home after using it in my car and it will still catch Pokemon for half an hour without my knowledge. The design and assembly is very simple and straightforward once you get the hang of it. The device is very durable and comes with a silicone case in case you drop it. I would never worry about being too hard on him. Pocket Egg Pair comes without a case. He catches Pokemon! This is the fastest gadget when switching to the next mon after trying to catch it - it rotates PokéStops! It rotates PokéStops very well, even when moving fast in a car. You can use two devices and/or profiles. That's why I hold it above everyone else. I can use it on both my work Android phone and my personal iOS phone at the same time without any interference issues. It stays connected and you only have to press an on-screen button to reconnect if the signal drops. . This is probably one of the best things about it. CONS: - Can't say it doesn't stop spinning or catching Pokemon, you have to do it yourself in the game - Price. This might be the most expensive device, but it's like buying two pitfalls in one package. I wish it was about $15 cheaper and then it would be STEALING. Connecting to two devices can be difficult. It took me a very long time to understand that. I really hope it doesn't shut me down otherwise I know it will be hard for me to set it up again. Gotcha Evolve - 3.5 starsPROS: - The screen is really cool, I like that it's basically like a watch and looks very thin for a normal person, it tracks your steps and has a really great interface for settings. Great battery life. Easy to charge via USB. Don't listen to people who think this is a problem, I like it more than using AA or AAA batteries. The price is fair for what you get. This is a very solid and well built device that looks really sleek. CONS: - Catches Pokemon and spins Poke Stops very slowly. This is the most annoying part of this device. I've had a regular trap for a long time, and it catches Pokemon much faster than this one. I was really looking forward to using it, but it's almost impossible to use while driving or fast cycling. To be honest I'd rather use regular gotcha than this one as it slowly transitions to the next mon or stop. - Couldn't restore it regularly. I'm not sure if I had interference issues or something, but it was really difficult to reconnect after being disconnected due to inactivity. Gotcha (Regular) - 4 Star PROS: - Best value for money, catches fast and stops fast. - Small, sleek design that's easy to carry and hide in your pocket while you work. You might be able to use it for a day before you need to charge it. I haven't used Gotcha Ranger, but I suspect that's why this product exists - the charging cable is proprietary and terrible to use. You can't charge it and play with it at the same time - you have to click on the screen and then press the button on the device to connect. The connection often breaks off too. Original Pokemon Go Plus - 2 stars (seriously don't buy the original) PROS: - Neat, functional design, good use of light to tell you what's going on when not looking at the game - better than nothing I think - . Here are the DISADVANTAGES (there are many of them): - It uses screw-down watch batteries. You should change the batteries at least once a week if you use them frequently - it disconnects frequently and doesn't easily reconnect. - Many Pokemon are overlooked. - Many stops are overlooked. - You have to catch Pokemon manually or rotate Stop when it appears where those others will do it for you automatically

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
