I replaced the broken rabbit because I thought this block looked more solid. This was a wrong assumption. The downstroke of the lever doesn't always drive the auger deep enough into the cork to pull it out on the upstroke. Then we have to pull the cork on the skewer and hope it doesn't break! It is also quite difficult to restart the cycle to remove the plug from the auger. The lever is flimsy and wobbly. The device is not firmly attached to the bottle neck. My husband thinks it's junk and wants me to return it. I am still debating this topic. Monumental waste of money. I do not recommend.
