Works great BUT READ ABOUT PARTS

OK so I have a GE Quietpower 3 dishwasher or something like that. My wife and kids refuse to remove all stuck food from their plates before loading the dishwasher. This mixes the feed with the water and pumps it through the pump and back through the sprinklers. Things like rice and stickers from new cups and whatever clogs the levers, ESPECIALLY the middle lever. My dishwasher has a lower rotating arm at the bottom of the tub, this attaches to the underside of the top shelf and then there is an upper arm on the top of the dishwasher which is pretty much useless. I've taken the temples off at least 50 times and cleaned them by hand in the tub, dipping them in vinegar and cleaning them with piping brushes and wire. Eventually I gave up as there was something in it that I couldn't get out. IT WORKS LIKE A MAGIC. However, here is an IMPORTANT READ FOR EVERYONE. If you remove the arm from under the top brace, SAVE THE SCREW AND WASHER THAT COMES OUT. This lever does not have a new replacement bolt or washer and you will need them to reattach the new lever. It's not a defect or anything - it's just useful information to have before throwing away the bolt and washer and then having to dig through the junk to find them again, clean them and install a new lever. Also, the GE part number and the part number of this lever (and almost all other dishwasher levers) do not match. I just looked at the picture and it looked identical and took a chance. It's identical. Works perfectly. The woman is happy. I'll probably end up buying another one to prepare for the next clog, which happens when my family decides to put a bowl full of rice in the dishwasher without rinsing it out first.
