With a fully charged car battery, I placed this solar charger on my car's dashboard, but after a few days the car started hard to start due to a dead car battery. Also, the cable to the car battery must be disconnected before starting the car, or it will damage the solar charger, so it is troublesome to open the hood to manually disconnect the solar panel from the car battery. especially when it's raining outside. It would be better if this solar charger could be separated from the charger itself. My car's cigarette lighter does not work when the car is off, so using a 12v cigarette lighter socket is not an option for my car.
