We read a lot about consumables for face painting and the like before we bought it and the only thing we kept reading about the Snazaroo was that it wasn't great for detail work. But others seem to like it. Since my wife is a fairly experienced artist, we thought the people who did the reviews weren't using it properly. We bought a set and my wife is very, very happy. says you need to use quite a bit of water, so that the paint flows well, but it is perfectly usable.
