The company has updated their product. The original product had such a terrible microphone that I had to return it. Now the mic is better, but still not on par with my laptop's built-in mic or even the cheapest Logitech. The sound is still not as clear as we would like. There is a sticker on the device that says to remove the protective film from the surface of the mirror. I don't see a mirror surface or a protective film either. Originally, the video looked like a fisheye lens and was heavily distorted, but had a wide field of view. Now the lens is only slightly distorted, but acceptable with a reduced field of view. The field of view is now the same as my laptop's built-in camera. I asked the company to send me a sample, but they insisted that I buy the product again. So I did. I highly recommend this product if you are really on a tight budget. I will not recommend this product for business users as the microphone is still not optimal. I will be returning the item as I intend to use it for business. Pay more and get good sound
