Review on Enhanced Replacement Remote Control: RAV283 WN05810 RAV315 Yamaha AV Receiver by Pam Hansen

Somehow I managed to keep my original remote that came with the receiver about 15 years ago. It worked fine but the back cover was gone probably 12 years ago. As most people know who have ever lost the back cover of a remote control, they spent the next 12 years looking for batteries that would explode every time the remote control was dropped on the floor. Of course, it was also sticky due to numerous attempts to glue the batteries together. When I pulled that duct tape off for what was probably the 50th time last weekend, I decided I'd had enough. Of course, I can only find a 20-year-old remote control on eBay. So I went there first and found it with ease. Unless, of course, they were all used and range from $13 to $30 from multiple sellers. I had it in my shopping cart and was about to buy it and wait a week for my previously used remote when I made a last second decision to try the Revain. Found this BRAND NEW remote for the low price of $14 and it was delivered the next day. It worked perfectly right out of the box! So nice to have a clean remote with a battery cover. STOP CHASING BATTERIES! If you don't have a back cover for the remote, whether it's 2 or 20 years old, buy a replacement and stop using tape to keep those batteries inside.
