I bought these shoes in anticipation of an upcoming holiday abroad, specifically looking for something light, easy to pack and comfortable for long walks around town. After a few weeks of long walks here at home, it turns out that these shoes are perfect for the purpose. They are very comfortable even after running several kilometers, while expensive hiking shoes bought in a specialty store left blisters on me. I usually wear a size 13 and some shoe models require a size 14, but a size 13 fits me well in this shoe. I have very flat feet and enough arch support that I don't need extra insoles. The light weight of this shoe is great for packing and the slip-on design is great for airport security. It remains to be seen how long-lasting they are, but at this price point, they're not likely to last forever. They're not particularly stylish; My wife said they look almost like slippers but as long as they are comfortable the style doesn't matter.
