Item works reasonably well however mechanical connection to xpress card slot is very poor. The card can be accidentally knocked out of the slot with the slightest pressure, and this can easily happen as the card itself sticks out of the slot more than an inch. When the card is inserted, it works as expected, but inserting and holding the card is a real hassle. so I don't recommend you to buy it. I got mine as a $30 repair so I don't feel like I was ripped off but if I paid the retail price I would return this for a refund as it has poor mechanical abilities rather than good electrical abilities.
