Review on ๐Ÿšฒ TUSITA One-Key Lock Out Front Mount Pro: Universal Bicycle Handlebar Mobile Holder for Safe Phone Security during Mountain Cycling and Outdoor Sports by Chase Dunn

Possibly better than the original

Edited after a few more bike rides: The thing holds up great on a mountain bike with drops and ledges. (I rarely fall more than a foot). However, I've lost my phone twice on a fast washboard. I only hit the fast washboard twice, and both times the phone flipped and flew out before I could grab it. I had to move quickly on a small washboard. First review: I have installed multiple quad lock mounts on two bikes and a motorcycle. This Tusita is made of plastic, while the corresponding quad-lock is made of aluminum. I'm not sure which material would be more stable. I just used it on a 3 day bike ride with a lot of difficult sections and it never budged. At least after this ride I would disagree with the above review and say it's not suitable for mountain biking. I used it with the iPhone XR. The quad lock has a lever to unlock/unlock the phone, which isn't present here. It seems to have some kind of bracket holding it in place. However, after working with Tusita for a while, I think I like this system better than the real version. I was able to rotate my phone horizontally to horizontally without messing with a lever. The phone didn't move, the mount didn't move. I was able to take it out to take a picture and easily replace it. A lever on a real branded quad lock mount makes it a little harder. After this experience I would buy this Tusita mount again instead of the quad lock even if the price was the same.

Cons
