It has taken me a while to write this review (I don't write many reviews - only ones that are really excellent or really crappy). I am deeply impressed by this. Almost half the price of the same size Art O'Graph, much thinner, much brighter, blah blah blah blah, you can't go wrong with this. It doesn't have an aluminum frame, so it can be thinner than a pencil. It has even lighting and ALSO has CONTROLS! This is a touch dimmer that can be lowered so you can dial in just the right amount of overhead light. The 23.5" can carry an 11" x 17" with room on the bottom for your wrist/palm (nice to keep your hand from feeling like it's falling off a cliff). This thing is going to be bright enough to shine through 2 pieces of 2 ply Bristol and is still bright The ONLY complaint I would have is the lack of an on/off switch so I just turned it off It's light enough to pull off the Drawing board to be removed but thin enough that it doesn't need to be removed Art O'Graph has a ledge around the frame but this one doesn't The front is a flat piece of acrylic so rulers aren't a problem You can even Use T-Square on it (e.g. C-Thru JR18) Take the plunge with Nestea and just buy it!
