I got them to drill a pot that didn't have drainage holes. We only used a regular drill, even tried a concrete drill and it was long and tiring. I read about their use. Around the place where we were going to make a hole, we made a small dam, covered the putty with plumbing and filled it with water. Drilling the well took between 30 seconds and less than a minute. This is an amazing product for my needs. I love this product!
