I wanted to love her like that! And I did. Before going through the dishwasher. I've had them for 9 days now and have washed them twice in the dishwasher. Lots and lots of water stains the first time. No problem. Fill the rinse aid dispenser. Less water stains next time, but lots of small RUST stains. The? ? Usually on the serrated edge of knives. Rust on the inner tines of the forks. Not every piece. Only 7 out of 48. . . beautiful. But it should be NULL. I am not difficult to please. I didn't expect $200 performance from a $30 kit. But rust in a week? I've even tried to convince myself to keep them - after all, who would notice a few dark spots of rust? The problem is, I KNOW the spots will grow and multiply. I have inexpensive cutlery that is 25 years old and hasn't rusted yet. *sigh* We have to send this back.
