This coat is very cute, the material is waterproof and the color choices are great. The company uses safe materials and responds quickly to questions. But in the end I had to send the coat back because there is no zipper. We go out in heavy rain, and if the coat isn't quite straight, the rain gets into the gaps between the buttons. So I think it works for lighter rain or brief exposure to heavy rain, but other than that, unfortunately, it's not a waterproof coating.
