Review on Walker 21357 Quiet Flow Stainless Muffler by Bill Gomez

Bought this as a last resort for a Tacoma 5vzfe to install a BudBuilt rail link. I wanted to keep the stock exhaust quiet, so I really didn't want to touch it. This muffler isn't as quiet as the original, but I'm grateful to Walker for making the muffler with that in mind. At 5vzfe, about 2krpm, there's a hum from that muffler, not the back of the truck, and it sounds and feels like it's resonating and coming from the front of the truck, otherwise it's very quiet. I was able to weld on an old resonator that was sitting around hoping to solve this problem with a 2K mid gas. Overall, I'm impressed with the noise cancellation considering how much smaller this muffler is than the stock.
