
I use this practice board for swimming. It takes a little getting used to, but I had to experiment with it to get the best out of it. It has definitely improved my toning, strokes and breathing. I would advise you to forget everything you have done with a standard board. This kickboard is the closest thing to swimming. Your arms should be stretched out hand in hand a few inches underwater and your arms should be in a streamlined shape close to your ears. Inhale as you turn your head to one side, as you would when swimming, and look back down at the bottom of the pool. You can even twist your body from side to side to really slice through the water. Now that I'm used to it, I love this board.
