Review on GEARWRENCH 81742 Pattern Combination Wrench by Payton Luna

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good work doesn't require a ratchet

I have a full set of these wrenches. I chose this one because of the overall length, looks, price, and the fact that almost every gear wrench tool I've bought has met my liking. So the length is perfect. They're a few inches longer than a regular "cheap wrench" and give you that extra boost you need. The size of the open and cap ends. Rather, the thickness is less than that of a cheap wrench. That means you can get these items in places you couldn't reach with the Harbor Freight Wrench. I use a lot of snap on tools and I really like their wrenches but they are TOO EXPENSIVE for something that gets so little use. I use this 24mm on one or two machines a week. In any case, that's often not enough for me to pay more. And the last cool thing is that the open end has grooves on the inside (similar to Snapon) that help you get a better grip faster and prevent rounding of the bolt. It's pretty efficient, but still not as good as SnapOn. In general I would buy this key again if I lose it or it explodes or another Castaproha.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Crumpled
