Review on 🏊 Sparx Women's Triathlon Suit Tri Shorts for Racing, Cycling, Swimming, and Running by Sri Mims

A durable suit for beginner triathletes!

New triathlete test! I'm new to triathlon - this is my first suit. This is my run/swim/bike review - to help those trying to find their first/next suit! hips. Received a medium size suit - it fits "as expected", with the caveat that it fits the figure very well. I have a short torso so the material has a little bunching in the middle, but I'll probably have that problem with any suit. It would probably be ideal for women under 5ft 5 - might be too short for taller women. The material is a bit thin. My belly button was probably visible when wet. I wear it with a sports bra and quick-dry panties to keep essentials hidden. The suit is made of thin suede. Haven't made the brick yet - so not sure how quickly it dries after bathing. There is a lot of freedom of movement in the shoulders, but the back is mostly covered and protected from the sun. ***Run Report* *** 45 mins / 5 miles run around noon (80F)πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ Run in suede shorts for the first time - not much, I wasn't afraid of getting rubbed so I did a little Body slip applied to the upper inner thighs, right into the cover - no chafing or irritation from suede πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ the whole suit stayed in place - the bottom part of the shorts didn't move, the mitral part of the top moved not.πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ I got used to running in suede pretty quickly and didn't even notice it after the first 10 minutes πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ sweating pulled out of the suit - I felt pretty comfortable given the temperature - during the entire run πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ the shorts don't have much compression - so if you're used to it or if you run 10,000km+ you might want to consider a suit with better leg compression*** Cycling Review****One hour/20 km bike lost g at night.πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ The shorts stayed in place - a few marks around the hips - but didn't chafe πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Suede offered adequate protection (and didn't go too far in the front or back),πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Sweat dripped off my body on the outside of the suit.πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ There are pockets but not too deep. MovementπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ the elastic on the legs held the shorts in place for 30 minutes of gentle swimmingπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ the material is a bit sticky in the middle and probably a little see through so my belly button is probably clearly visible but the bottom is black and I'm wearing a sports bra, important details are hidden there.πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ it has thin suede - I didn't notice it at all while swimming βœ…

Pros
  • βœ… The superior technical compression fabric used in our men's triathlon suits reduces muscle vibration, the main cause of muscle fatigue. Flat seams provide extra comfort and do not chafe. Air Stream mesh back for good breathability and ventilation
Cons
  • Low maintenance
