I bought a set of Sai knives so this is a general overview. The knives are nice, well weighted and sharp. Thanks to the matt surface, the knives are more slippery when wet or have slippery hands than many other knives or world classics. (The first thing I did was wash the knife and while it was wet it slipped out of my hand and I cut myself). The blade cuts everything it touches. If you have a weak grip this can be a problem. The knife has a notch on the left side for a right-handed thumb, but not on the left side. This makes it less comfortable for the left hand but very comfortable for the right handed. So far the knives are working perfectly. I take extra precautions to keep the knife from slipping out of my hand.
