I recently discovered this "hybrid" - something between a vibrating, battery-powered manual toothbrush and a true electric toothbrush (rechargeable or plug-in). I think it's strong enough for my small mouth. Some people say the brush head is too big. Compared to a real electric toothbrush, it is larger. But since it's more of a hybrid, I feel like the size is right - about the same size as my manual oral b. It seems like the perfect fulfillment of some tongue-in-cheek casuals' dream that their favorite manual toothbrush could spin, too. and pulse electrically without even being connected to the wall. I intend to use rechargeable batteries after the originals are dead, which should avoid potential waste. It's probably debatable to say that throwing away half a toothbrush every 3 months is more environmentally friendly than a whole handmade one, but I dare say it. The only thing that bothers me is the color options. I knew I would get a random color pair, but I didn't expect My Little Pony to be a brilliant combination of purple and pink. The dear male husband said he would take the purple one. I tried to think he was a scammer but it didn't get any better. Just a warning, it could happen to you! UPDATE: Sharpie's attempt ended in disaster. I bought it an updated version that has a new switch design with rubber buttons (and no girly colors). So far everything works great.
