I've just opened up my Quest 2 upgrade kit and I have to say there are some issues.1. They didn't include a title page for Quest 2.2. Once I was able to attach the grips, I found that the new angle was causing my thumb to get caught in the halo. Doesn't sit very well on the controller.3. actually difficult things like the assembly of the headgear, which had to be assembled in a special way, were not explained in the instructions4. The mount was EXTREMELY tight to get on Quest 2, it wasn't a fault, it's just smaller or stiffer than the original belt mounts. The rear headrest is designed for someone with a flat head because only part of it touches my head and the other part hangs down and when I look up it touches my neck. I would return it but. Not sure if I can get it off my Quest 2 without damaging the headset.
