I cleaned my 11 year old windshield which was covered in hardware stains and other surface imperfections. I applied by hand in small circular motions and covered about 50% of the previous coat. After I coated each section of the windshield, I used a cup of deionized water, poured it over the windshield, and wiped it dry with microfiber. When all the residue was gone, I applied invisible rain glass cleaner and nothing stuck to my windshield. The morning dew just rolls off. I no longer see hard water stains when the sun is at the right angle at night. A little goes a long way and dozens of windshields can be treated with this kit.
