We are all used to driving with the side mirrors set WRONG; this. Adjust the side mirrors so you can see the side and back of your car. Basically, when your mirrors are properly adjusted, it's hard to tell where your wheels are in relation to the curb. This convex mirror does an excellent job of filling the spot. This is not a blind spot mirror (since your side mirrors really should be a blind spot mirror) but more of a blind spot fill mirror. It pivots around the base so unlike other reviews it CAN BE ADJUSTED. Other fixed mirrors cannot be used if your side mirrors are properly adjusted. I have them on all three of my machines and they work great. Yes, the plastic packaging does scratch the mirror a bit, but you don't notice that in the real world.
