Keeps shutting down my computer randomly

So I got this cooler today and I was playing a game and it randomly turned itself off. I've had this problem with coolers like this when you lower the latch. I had to go back to my old cooler with worse temperature because that cooler shut down my computer. I was very excited about this product but now I'm disappointed that I wouldn't recommend it. I would suggest an alternative to this
