Review on ๐Ÿบ Wolf Tooth's Precision-Machined Seatpost Clamp: Unmatched Performance and Quality by Joe Glass

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great looks with reliable clamping force

I've made the decision to switch from a QR seatpost clamp to a precision-machined 31.8/32mm Wolf Tooth seatpost clamp since installing the seatpost. I no longer need the QR clip to move the seat up and down when commuting. In addition, we hope this makes it difficult for those who want to get a free eyedropper. First, the clamp looks great. Made in the USA. The edges are clean, crisp and the logo trim looks amazing. I'm not a big fan of weight, but for those wondering or just wondering, the 31.8/32mm clamp weighed 18g. The standard QR clamp that I removed weighed 52g. I was very surprised at the difference in weight (on the scale, not on the track). The clamp works well and is easy to assemble. The clamp has a lip on the top edge that rests on the tube, inserts into the seatpost, and then tightens the clamp. That's all. I rode it every day for a week, dual lane, single lane and downhill with no slipping, rotation or other pinching issues. Overall, I'm very happy with the Wolf Tooth seatpost clamp. If you are looking for a new clamp I would recommend this one. Remember to measure the outside diameter of the seatpost to get the right size. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope you find them helpful.
