I have connected 2 of 430 recorders to cable DVRs for normal recording. Bought when they were $89 each. Now they're running after crazy sums. These are excellent reliable devices, but remote controls are often used. A few years ago I bought some fakes that work great but don't look like the originals. Saw it recently and bought two. They work and feel like brand new versions of the original remotes.
