The light itself is fine. It has three different colors (white, yellowish and bluish) and adjustable brightness. But the clip is unreasonably strong. I'm a guitarist with pretty strong hands and the thing is still difficult to open. In fact, it's so strong that I refuse to put it on my laptop for fear it will crack the screen if I put it on. The clip also closes at a steep angle where it only snaps at the tip, so it's pretty unstable if you snap it to something it's rotating back and forth about that pivot point. Basically, I recommend you to buy another ring light that has a better clip. I'm sending this one back and will be looking for something with a thinner clip to make sure it doesn't damage my screen when I put it on.
