Review on πŸ–₯️ Cougar Panzer EVO RGB Black Full Tower Gaming Case with Remote Control and RGB LED Lighting by Jason Unruh

As a designer/developer of high performance gaming motherboards, I LOVE this case!

As a professional engineer who has developed gaming motherboards for Intel (from 2007 to 2011), I can say with confidence that this is an amazing case. The case was big enough to have enough room for all my components and very neat cabling for plenty of airflow, but the case was lighter than the steel case I used to stuff my gaming PC guts into. There are so many ways to place large fans that you can either load LOTS of fans or choose 3 fans for optimal airflow. I also really liked that the case has a fan speed switch that I can use to decide whether I want to use it or not. When I connect the 3 or 4-wire motherboard fan connectors, I let the motherboard dictate the fan speed. Or I use adapters and a switch case to choose the fan speed myself. There are definitely times when I prefer to make my own decisions based on what I know, what I'm going to do, or where I am. For example, I will have a 1 minute Skype chat and my fans only have to shut up for a minute. etc. All hard drives snapped/snapped easily without having to balance the screws on the tip of the screwdriver. You were all there, you know what I mean. Click. Ready. The power supply is nicely tucked away in a small wind tunnel on the underside, and the cables run through small rubber grommets on the back for neat cable management. This is your chance to show off your style. The only extra work I needed was that I had to extend the 2x4 pin 12V CPU power cable to fit the connector on my board. As an engineer, I simply cut the wire and soldered an extra 6 inches. But for most of you, I recommend either making sure the 2x4 CPU power cable is long enough, or consider buying an adapter to extend it 3" to 6" when you buy it. At the end of this step, I clearly think it's worth the effort because now the PSU and all the heat it generates is kept away from my precious CPU, GPU, etc. There's plenty of room inside for lighting effects, a huge graphics card, and a cooling system, and maybe a character that will take you back to the real world from level 3. Blinky DRAM sticks for the win!One final note: whoever designed this case is obviously a gamer as the handles are well placed and sturdy for carrying your beast to a LAN party for crazy props.Plus is the headphone holder is a nice touch.which adds a touch of class to your LAN festival. If you see a guy with this in the next section of PAX BYOC, say hello! it could be me

Pros
  • Enjoy over 100 different dynamic RGB lighting effects in one of the most beautiful cases ever
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.
